Enveloping aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit lead to forward flavors of peach, nectarine and white currant. Very elegant midpalate, with notes of lemon curd and cream, which extend on the long finish. Best from 2014 through 2038. 500 cases made. –KM

Honey and dried apricot notes accent the pineapple-infelcted fruit in this full-bodied, sweet auslese. Melon rounds out the midpalate, which offers plenty of flavor and succulence if not a ton of mineral complexity.
