Intense dark red/purple colour. Powerful and complex nose with red fruit characters and hints of caramel, bay, saffron, even eucalyptus. Very rich and velvetty on the palate, even though the oak aged element is not perceptible. The unique tannic character of the Grenache - powerful, complex and delicate at the same time - is very evident. Long, attractive finish. A wine that can be drunk now or over the course of several years to come.
