Bright, pure, racy and nicely defined, with lovely peach, nectarine, rose water and blanched almond notes that all sail through the stone-tinged finish. Drink now through 2012. –JM
The wine is expressive and well-balanced. A bouquet of floral and exotic fruit aromas, with a mineral streak. On the palate, the same aromas of white flowers (hawthorn, acacia), fruity (pineapple and nice juicy locally-grown pears), a hint of aniseed, and appealing minerality courtesy of our fine soils. Ample mouth feel and very well-balanced; hugely enjoyable when young, but can also be aged for a few years.
Offers pure pear and yellow apple fruit is backed by blanched almond and melon rind hints. A stony edge frames the finish. Drink now. –JM
