  Domaine de Beaurenard's 2005 Chateauneuf-du-Pape
bottlings have received 92 & 96 points from Wine Spectator!
DOMAINE DE BEAURENARD CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE BOISRENARD 2005:
96 POINTS
"This lush beauty really tames the vintage’s rugged structure,
with gorgeous boysenberry and raspberry confiture layered with mocha,
Turkish coffee, licorice and fig paste notes. The long finish has great grip
and the exotic spice notes linger beautifully. Best from 2010 through 2030."

DOMAINE DE BEAURENARD CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE 2005:
92 POINTS
"This has lots of juicy grip, with a strong, briary undertow supporting
red and black licorice, hot stone, currant paste, tobacco and chestnut notes.
The long, muscular finish is typical of the vintage. Best from 2010 through 2025."
- James Molesworth

James Molesworth: "The Best White Wine That
You're Not Drinking"
From Wine Spectator, December 15, 2007:
"Do white Châteauneuf-du-Papes taste like rich, fruity Chardonnays?
No. Do they taste like fresh Sauvignon Blancs? No. Nor do they
taste like Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris or Riesling. Instead, they have
their own distinct, exotic flavor profiles—brioche, blanched almond,
star fruit, anise, fennel, mineral, honeysuckle, peach and more.
They can range from rich and oily in texture to lean and minerally."
